ADRIAN — Lenawee County’s annual Community Tree Lighting is coming up Monday, Dec. 1, on the front lawn of the Old Courthouse in downtown Adrian.
The holiday tree, which arrived on November 13, is already in place on the courthouse lawn.
The event begins at 7 p.m., with the lighting scheduled for 7:30. County officials say the gathering marks the traditional start of the holiday season in Lenawee County and is open to residents of all ages.
The Community Tree Lighting is held each year to bring families, neighbors, and visitors together as the holiday decorations across the downtown district officially come to life. Attendance is free, and no registration is required.
Residents are encouraged to arrive early to secure a viewing spot on the courthouse lawn.
The tree lighting is coordinated annually to kick off Lenawee County’s December events and downtown holiday activities.
