
Ronald Roy Moore, age 76, of Meadow Lake, Cambridge Township, died on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family while under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. Born in Adrian on November 29, 1948, he was the son of Ray and Lauretta (Goodfriend) Moore. He proudly served his country after enlisting in the United States Army.
On August 14, 1976, in Tecumseh, he married the love of his life, the former Sherry Kaye Andrews. Together they raised three children and enjoyed over 24 wonderful years together before her passing on March 28, 2001.
Ron worked as a crane operator at Irvin Industries, where he dedicated 37 years until his retirement. An avid fan of racing, he loved racing sprint cars at Butler Motor Speedway. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing or enjoying his lake property. More recently, he took great joy in watching his grandchildren play sports.
Surviving is his son, Timothy (Lisa) Moore of Brooklyn; two daughters, Jennifer Moore of Brooklyn and Julie Muncy (Weston Fuller) of Onsted; a brother, Donald (Kylene) Moore of Adrian; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In accordance with Ron’s wishes, cremation will take place. Memorial Visitation will take place on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a service taking place at 3:00 pm at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Adrian. Inurnment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian.
