
WASHINGTON — Congressman Tim Walberg, who chairs the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce, has announced a full committee hearing focused on the future of higher education.
The hearing, titled “The Future of College: Harnessing Innovation to Improve Outcomes and Lower Costs,” will take place Tuesday, November 18, at 10:15 a.m. in Room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C.
The session will explore how new approaches, technologies, and policy reforms can expand access to quality education while reducing the financial burden on students and families.
As chairman, Walberg said the committee aims to highlight strategies that make college more affordable and effective for both students and institutions.
The hearing will be open to the public and streamed online through the House Committee on Education and the Workforce website.
