ADRIAN — More than 200 people took part in this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Lenawee County.

The event took place October 12th at Adrian College’s Dawson Field, organized by the Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Chapter.

According to the association, 240 participants joined the two-mile walk around campus to raise awareness and support for Alzheimer’s care, research, and family services.

Donations are still being accepted through the end of the year, but the Lenawee walk has already raised more than $50,000 toward its $60,000 goal.

The Alzheimer’s Association thanked the community for its continued partnership and encouraged residents to visit alz.org/gmc for information on caregiving, early detection, and future walk events.
