ADRIAN — The annual Bagging for a Difference fundraiser returns to Adrian Country Market later this month.
Volunteers with Lenawee Cares will be bagging groceries from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, November 21, at 1535 West Maumee Street in Adrian. Shoppers can help support local families in need by allowing a volunteer to bag their groceries and offering a donation at checkout.
According to organizers, every dollar raised helps fund food, shelter, and other basic needs for Lenawee County residents through local nonprofit programs.
Haley Entmaa, chair of the Lenawee Cares Committee and board member for the Lenawee Community Foundation, said the event shows how small acts of generosity can make a big difference in the community.
