
BLISSFIELD — The 51st annual Yuletide Festival begins today, November 7, in downtown Blissfield and continues through the weekend with shopping, food, music, and family activities.
Friday’s events include holiday shopping from 1 to 7 p.m. at local stores and the Yuletide Market, a chili dinner at First United Methodist Church, and the annual tree lighting ceremony on South Lane at 6:30 p.m. Santa will make an appearance during the lighting, followed by cocoa and cookies downtown.
Saturday’s lineup features the Blissfield Elementary Craft Show, breakfast with Santa, and a “Food Fight” fundraiser to support local groups. Evening festivities include carriage rides, live music, and “Yuletide Cheer,” a tasting event highlighting local chefs and beverage pairings.
Events continue Sunday with brunch and bingo, shopping, and the grand prize drawings at 5 p.m.
WLEN’s John Koehn, Stacy Mitchell, and the View Point team will be in Blissfield on Saturday, broadcasting live from the festival.
