ADRIAN — Adrian voters have decided to repeal the Point of Sale Ordinance in Tuesday’s election.
The proposal asked whether to repeal the ordinance, which required property inspections before a home could be sold.
Unofficial results show voters overwhelmingly supported repeal — with 2,606 voting yes and 653 voting no.
The outcome means the City of Adrian will remove the inspection requirement tied to residential property sales once results are certified by the Lenawee County Board of Canvassers.
