BLISSFIELD — The Village of Blissfield’s annual Light Up the Park event will bring decorated trees, light displays, and illuminated bridges to Ellis and Clara Bachmayer Parks throughout December.
According to organizers, the lights fundraiser kicked off October 1 to help expand displays for 2025. Tree sponsorships opened November 1, inviting residents, businesses, and groups to decorate one of thirty available trees at Ellis Park. Decorating begins November twenty-fourth.
The display will run December first through thirty-first, with a First Light Party scheduled for Saturday, December sixth at five p.m. The free community event includes hot cocoa, cookies, music, and a first look at the new lights.
