LENAWEE CO. — The Alzheimer’s Association is offering several free community programs this month for residents in Lenawee County and the surrounding area.
The sessions are designed to help families understand, identify, and manage the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Programs include 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s and Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia, held at senior centers and churches across northwest Ohio. While most events take place in Toledo, Norwalk, and Maumee. Lenawee County residents are encouraged to attend any session in the region.
Organizers say the presentations cover topics such as recognizing early symptoms, navigating the diagnostic process, and accessing local support and resources through the Alzheimer’s Association.
According to Senior Director Pam Myers, the programs provide essential information and help families feel less isolated as they navigate memory-related illnesses.
