ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Accounts Payable Committee reviewed recent project costs at the Maurice Spear Campus and county airport.

A change order was approved for HVAC commissioning at the Maurice Spear Campus. The work must resume in spring when outdoor temperatures rise above 55 degrees. According to officials, the county will be reimbursed by Granger Construction, which will recover costs from subcontractors responsible for the delay.

The committee also confirmed a $78,000 furniture purchase for the same campus as part of the original renovation contract.

At the county airport, a $1,700 expense was logged to replace a road sign that blew down earlier this year. The new sign was previously discussed by the Airport Commission.

The committee voted to recommend these accounts payable listings to the Personnel and Ways and Means Committee.
