TECUMSEH — The annual audit for Tecumseh Public Schools confirmed a budget variance and says the district must correct it going forward.

The auditors reported the district still increased its fund balance last year, but spending ran higher than the final approved budget, which triggered the finding. The district now has to align the new budget with last year’s actual costs.
