ADRIAN — WLEN News is featuring ballots across Lenawee County to provide residents with the information they need before the November 4th election. Today, we’ll be starting with the city of Adrian.
Running for a four-year term on the city commission are incumbents Gordon D. Gauss and Douglas Miller, while new faces looking to fill those seats are Chip Moore, Aaron J. Chesher, James B. Trull, and Tiffany Sieler-Zych.
Residents are reminded to vote for not more than three candidates for city commission.
Running uncontested for Mayor of Adrian is incumbent Angie Sword Heath.
Also on the ballot is the option to repeal the City of Adrian Ordinance commonly known as the Point of Sale Ordinance, which requires the inspection of residential properties prior to their sale.
Lastly, residents can vote on whether to approve the Citizens Gas Fuel Company Franchise Agreement, which will allow Citizens Gas to continue to operate in the City of Adrian and provide natural gas service to city residents and businesses for a 30 year period.
