JACKSON — Henry Ford Health Hospice is offering a free grief workshop for teenagers who are coping with the death of a loved one.
The workshop is for ages 13 to 17. It will take place Thursday, December 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Henry Ford Community Education Room at the Jackson YMCA on West Wesley Street.
Organizers say the session is interactive and will teach teens about grief, ways to adjust to a loss, and provide a space to share their experiences if they wish.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Families can register by contacting Bereavement Coordinator Erika Van Poppel at 517-206-2981 or by email at Evanpop1@hfhs.org.
The event is hosted by Henry Ford Health Hospice in Jackson.
