ADRIAN — The next Drug Take-Back Day is this Saturday at ProMedica Hickman Hospital in Adrian.

This week on WLEN’s Community Conversations, United for Prevention and Recovery and the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office reminded residents about the next Drug Take-Back Day.

The event is set for Saturday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind ProMedica Hickman Hospital.

Residents can drop off expired or unused pills, liquids, animal medicine, vitamins, and sharps in a sturdy plastic container.

Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office Captain Jake Pifer says removing old medication keeps families safe and prevents misuse.

The collection site will close at 2 p.m. sharp because the sheriff’s office must transport everything for disposal.
