IDA — The Christmas in Ida Festival will open with a new Country Cornhole Tournament on Friday, December 5. The event will be played under stadium-style lights in downtown Ida.
Sign-up begins at 6 p.m. at the announcer stage. Games start at 7 p.m. The entry fee is $20. The tournament will use a blind draw and double elimination format, run by BackRoad Baggers.
Prizes include medals for first, second, and third place, and an 80-percent payout of entry fees.
The event will take place on Lewis Avenue. If the weather is bad, it will move inside the Ida Fireman’s Pavilion.
The tournament is part of Friday night entertainment at Christmas in Ida.
