LANSING — Governor Gretchen Whitmer has named several Southeast Michigan residents to state boards and commissions this week.

From our area, Anne Partington of Ann Arbor joins the Commission for Logistics and Supply Chain Collaboration. Rebekah McCarter of Dexter will also serve on that panel. Camron Moorehead of Saline is reappointed to the Michigan Board of Occupational Therapists. Dr. Priti George of Northville is set to continue on the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy.

Other nearby appointees include Douglas Ferrick of Northville to the Michigan Community Service Commission, and Jenny Piatt of Chelsea to the state Autism Council. Livonia’s Wafa Dinaro was reappointed to the Michigan Finance Authority Board.

Some appointments require Senate approval; others take effect immediately. These roles guide policy on health care, education, infrastructure, and community service across Michigan.
