ADRIAN — The Michigan State Police say a narcotics search warrant was carried out this week in the 100 block of South Main Street in Adrian.
The Region of Irish Hills Narcotics Office, or RHINO, worked with the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, Adrian Police, and the Adrian Fire Department during the operation.
Officers seized multiple kinds of narcotics. One person was taken into custody on several warrants, including absconding from probation. Another suspect, who is on parole, was injured after jumping from a rooftop while trying to get away. He was taken to Toledo Hospital for treatment.
The investigation continues, and RHINO detectives are working with the Lenawee County Prosecutor’s Office on possible felony charges.
Anyone with information about illegal drug activity can contact RHINO at 517-265-5787 or MSP-RHINO@michigan.gov.
