After relocating to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2008 with her husband Bill, she became a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.

Kathy found joy in antiques, cooking, gardening, and especially in watching her children and grandchildren grow.

She married William “Bill” Green on June 15, 1953. Together they raised two children: David B. (Dianne) Green of Raleigh, NC and Linda K. (John) Waldo of Clio, MI. She was cherished by her grandchildren: Jennifer, Paige, and Will Green; Michelle, Matthew, Amy, and Christi Waldo.
