LENAWEE CO. — The Lenawee Continuum of Care will host its annual Project Connect event on Wednesday, November 12, at the Lenawee County Fair and Event Grounds.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. during Homeless Awareness Month and brings together more than 40 local agencies to provide free services and resources for individuals and families in need.
Visitors can access help with housing, employment, health care, education, and legal aid. Free haircuts, meals, food boxes, and flu shots will also be available.
A Veteran Stand Down will take place at the same time, with veterans encouraged to bring a photo ID or DD-214.
Free rides to and from the event are available through the Lenawee Public Transportation Authority at 517-265-4444.
