Thomas Alfred Cutler, age 84 of Adrian, passed away on October 10, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family and under the compassionate care of Hospice of Lenawee. Thomas was born on January 3, 1941, in Elyria, Ohio to Alfred and Fern (Hand) Cutler. He graduated from Morenci High School with the Class of 1960. Shortly after graduating, he proudly served in the United States Army from 1960-1963. Thomas married Blanch Boyd on August 8, 1964, and she preceded him in death on September 22, 2016, after 52 years of marriage.

Tom had previously worked at Merillat Industries and then was employed by the Ford Motor Company, working at the plant in Saline before retiring in 1998 after 30 years of service. He was an avid Detroit Tigers, Lions and Red Wings fan and rooted for any Michigan based sports team. Tom had a passion for buying cars and trucks, he treated himself to a new vehicle every few years. He was also a diehard fan of NASCAR and ARCA.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Stacie Schroeder (Chad Heppner); grandchildren; Jared Cutler, Jordan Cutler, Krystina Kendall, Keria Cutler, and Ada Schroeder. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Michael Cutler, siblings, Grace Kerby, Dale and Gerald Cutler, brothers and sisters-in-law of the Boyd family, and daughter-in-law, Tammy Cutler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Military Funeral Honors. Cremation will follow the service and he will be privately laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery.
