ADRIAN — Fall yard waste collection dates for the city of Adrian have been announced.
The dates are Wednesday, November 5th; Wednesday, November 12th; Wednesday, November 19th; and Wednesday, December 3rd.
Yard waste must be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 AM.
All yard waste shall be placed in biodegradable and/or compostable paper bags and must not weigh more than fifty pounds.
Unapproved containers, including plastic bags, will not be picked up for collection.
Bundled branches and brush must be tied in bundles no longer than three feet, weighing less than fifty pounds, and placed parallel with the curb.
The compost site, located off of Oakwood Ave, will remain open until Saturday, December 6th.
Hours of operation are Tuesdays from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
All yard waste deposited at the compost site in anything other than biodegradable and/or compostable paper bags must be removed from the bag or container.
