ADRIAN — Lenawee County is once again preparing to honor local veterans during the annual Thank-A-Vet Day on Tuesday, November 11, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Volunteers and radio personalities from WLEN, Q95 Country, and 96.5 The Cave will collect curbside donations throughout the day to support the Veterans Dire Need Fund.
Since 2006, the event has raised more than $400,000 to help local veterans with essential needs like rent, utilities, and transportation. Last year alone, the community brought in over $58,000.
All funds stay local and are distributed through Housing Help of Lenawee, with TLC Community Credit Union providing a matching grant.
