ADRIAN — The County IT Department has officially closed two technology projects after confirming all invoices were paid.

The projects include the Cisco Access Point Replacement and the Cisco Call Manager End-of-Support Upgrade. Both upgrades improved network speed and reliability across county buildings.

IT Director Ben Ricker told the committee that this year’s Computer Replacement Program is nearly complete and should finish by the end of November. About ten thousand dollars remain in the current budget.

Ricker also said planning is already underway with vendors for next year’s projects.

The county’s IT capital fund currently shows just over one hundred forty-three thousand dollars available for future upgrades.
