ADRIAN — New data from Placer AI and Cobalt 360 shows that Downtown Adrian drew about 272,000 visitors over the past year, nearly unchanged from the previous year.
Between September 2024 and August 2025, the downtown area recorded roughly 1.5 million total visits, a change of less than one percent.
Main Street Director Jay Marks said most visits came from nearby residents, but more out-of-town guests are starting to visit — and they tend to spend more when they do.
The study also found a slight drop in local visits, which was linked to lower disposable income in the area.
