TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh City Council met on Monday to discuss possible sites for new outdoor pickleball courts.

Council members narrowed the options to A.J. Smith Park and Aden Mead Park. They reviewed parking, drainage, and added costs such as paving, staffing, and facility upgrades.

City Manager Dan Coker and Parks and Recreation Director Sarah Gilmore were asked to refine the total project cost and determine how much of the funding gap remains after donations are applied.

Council also asked that the plan include at least six courts, with eight still being considered.

No public comments were made during the study session.

The revised cost estimates will be presented at a future meeting before any final site is chosen.
