ADRIAN — The Catherine Cobb Safe House was formally recognized by the State of Michigan during Saturday’s “Love Shouldn’t Hurt” community gathering at Trestle Park in Adrian.

State Representative Nancy Jenkins-Arno delivered a proclamation honoring the organization’s decades of service to survivors of domestic violence and marking October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Catherine Cobb Safe House has provided crisis intervention, shelter, and advocacy for survivors since the 1970s and continues to serve families across Lenawee County.
