IDA — The Christmas in Ida Festival has announced two major concerts for this year’s holiday celebration.
The Boychoir of Ann Arbor will perform a special Commemorative Concert on Friday, December 5 at 7 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. The show will feature classical and traditional Christmas songs, followed by a community reception.
Under the direction of Dr. John Boonenberg, the choir includes boys ages 8 to 18 and has performed across Michigan for nearly 40 years.
Also returning this year is the Jingle Bell Rockout! Concert, featuring six regional bands performing 30-minute sets in a fast-paced show at the heated outdoor Christmas in Ida Theater Center.
All concerts are free and open to the public. For more details, visit christmasinida.com.
