Matthew Edward Wolfe, age 45, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, due to a tragic car accident. Matthew was born on March 2, 1980, in Toledo, Ohio, to Bradley and Deborah (Wall) Wolfe. Matt attended Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School in Oregon, Ohio, and then attended the University of Toledo with a double major in Finance and Accounting. Matt later obtained his CPA license. Matt served as an accountant for several companies and also held the position of CFO. Matt opened his own consulting firm. On September 16, 2006, Matt married Victoria Schnoor in Put-In-Bay, Ohio, and she survives. Soon, Matt and Victoria welcomed two children and several pets into their family. Matt loved spending time and having lunch dates with his best friend, Sarah, his sister. Matt’s greatest joys were attending, watching his children at their soccer, basketball, and golf events. He also enjoyed working on all his home projects around the house and helping others with any of their tech issues. Matt enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, Victoria.
Matthew is survived by his wife, son Matthew Wolfe, daughter Vivienne Wolfe, parents Bradley and Deborah Wolfe, sister Sarah (Wolfe) King, and his recliner buddy Petra, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Matt is proceeded in death by his grandparents: Jack and Barbara Wolfe and Richard and Ruth Wall, Aunt Roberta (Wall) Bockelman and Uncle Jeff Wall.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the Marry Funeral Home – Blissfield Chapel, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Memorial contributions can be made to Lenawee Humane Society or the Parkinson’s Foundation, envelopes available at the funeral home.
