Foster Farms recalls 3.8 million pounds of chicken corn dogs

LENAWEE CO. — Foster Poultry Farms is recalling about 3,843,040 pounds of chicken corn dogs because pieces of wood may be in the batter.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall on Oct. 4. The items were made from July 30, 2024, through Aug. 4, 2025.

Look for establishment number “P-6137B” on the package. The products went to stores and institutions nationwide. Some reached schools through normal sales, not the National School Lunch Program.

The issue came to light after consumer complaints, including five injuries. Do not eat these products. Throw them away or return them.
