TECUMSEH — Tecumseh leaders say progress is being made on several key infrastructure projects.
The northwest parking lot was recently finished ahead of schedule and under budget.
Looking ahead, the northeast parking lot is planned for 2026. Officials expect it to be the most difficult project yet, with major drainage, utility, and safety concerns to address.
At the same time, work on the downtown streetscape design is moving forward. Community members have been active in the planning process, and the final design is expected in March 2026.
These projects are part of ongoing efforts to improve parking, safety, and the downtown experience for residents and visitors.
