MORENCI — The 4th Annual Morenci Fall Fest takes over downtown this Saturday.
From 4 to 7 p.m., families can enjoy free hayrides, face painting, archery, a petting farm, caricatures, and a photo booth. More than 70 local merchants and groups will be set up with seasonal shopping and activities.
The festival begins with the Alley 221 art reveal at 4 p.m., followed by DJ Van Damage on the Main Stage. At 8 p.m., Chase VanBrandt and the Dive Bar All-Stars headline a free outdoor concert downtown.
Food will be served by the Fire Department, Pizza Box, North Street Pub, and the Morenci Eagles, with food trucks on North Street. The Social District will stay open until 11 p.m.
Admission is free. Organizers say this is the city’s biggest celebration of the season.
