MONROE CO — Three members of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Victim Services Unit recently took part in specialized training in Midland, Michigan.
The program brought together volunteers from 20 sheriff’s offices across the state. Training focused on helping victims and families in crisis, including guidance on working with children, supporting people with disabilities, and delivering difficult news.
Sheriff Troy Goodnough said the Victim Services Unit provides valuable support to both the Sheriff’s Office and citizens of Monroe County.
