ADRIAN — The annual Keep Lenawee Warm coat and blanket drive is now underway.
Local residents are asked to donate gently used coats and blankets at sites across the county, including TLC Community Credit Union branches, Adrian Monuments, and several other locations.
The items will be cleaned by Adrian Dry Cleaners and then distributed by Associated Charities of Lenawee to families in need.
WLEN General Manager Julie Koehn says this campaign shows the best of our community. She elaborated by saying, “Every year, the generosity of Lenawee County shines through this campaign. A coat or blanket can make a life-changing difference for a neighbor in need.”
The drive continues through October 15th.
