LENAWEE CO. — The Lenawee County Department of Veterans Affairs is looking for nominations for a veteran to serve on its Executive Committee. The appointment will run through December 31, 2029.
To be eligible, nominees must live in Lenawee County and have served honorably on active duty in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans should also have experience in public service, business, or finance, and be familiar with community resources.
The Executive Committee meets once a month and members receive a $40 per diem. Nominations can be submitted through a veterans’ service group or by an independent veteran.
Required documents include a nomination form, DD 214 separation record, and a resume. All paperwork is due by Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
The final appointment will be made by the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners.
