ADRIAN — The City of Adrian reminds residents not to put yard clippings or leaves in streets or alleys.
A City Ordinance prohibits depositing debris on public roads to protect drivers and storm drains.
Yard waste can be taken to the Compost Site off Oakwood Avenue on Tuesdays, noon to 7 p.m., and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., through Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025.
Curbside fall yard-waste collection is set for four Wednesdays: Nov. 5, Nov. 12, Nov. 19, and Dec. 3. Place items at the curb by 7 a.m. Use biodegradable paper bags under 50 pounds. Plastic bags and other unapproved containers will not be collected.
All bundled branches and brush should be tied in bundles under 3 feet long, placed parallel to the curb, and kept under 50 pounds.
