ADRIAN — The Lenawee Historical Society is asking the community for help collecting books.
The group is collecting old and used books. If the books are about Lenawee County history — like yearbooks, atlases, or local biographies — they are added to the museum’s collection for the public. Books that are not related to county history, or are duplicates, are sold to raise money for the museum.
Right now, the Society has dozens of books for sale. To make it easier for visitors to browse, the museum is looking for a library-style book cart to hold and display them. They would gladly accept a new or used cart, or donations to help purchase one.
