LENAWEE CO. — The Lenawee Department on Aging says home-delivered meals in four communities will pause briefly as staff transition to a new kitchen space.
Meals will not be delivered in Adrian, Blissfield, Onsted, or Tecumseh on Friday, Sept. 26, or Monday, Sept. 29. Officials say the pause will give employees time to train and prepare in the new facility.
All senior center activities, including congregate meals, will continue as scheduled during this time.
The department thanked residents for their patience, noting the short pause will help ensure safe and efficient service once deliveries resume.
Again, only Adrian, Blissfield, Onsted, and Tecumseh meal routes are affected, and service is expected to resume after Sept. 29.
