ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Health Department will begin renovations this fall, with work funded by the Centers for Disease Control.

Starting October 1, improvements will be made in phases. In early December, two clinic rooms will be under construction, limiting capacity for about two weeks.

From December 15 through January 2, the main clinic will close so floors and finishes can be replaced. During that time, limited services like immunizations, supply visits, and waivers will continue from nearby meeting rooms.

Environmental Health’s reception area is also scheduled for upgrades in November. While that work is underway, the reception desk will temporarily move to the Health Education Room.

Officials said services will continue as much as possible during the construction period.
