
LANSING — State Representative Nancy Jenkins-Arno says the state budget is still being worked out in Lansing.
Leaders in the House, Senate, and the governor’s office are meeting to set spending plans before the October 1 deadline.
Jenkins-Arno explained the House believes Michigan has enough money to fund schools, police, and roads without raising taxes.
