ADRIAN — The Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute in Adrian has been named a Gold-Level Veteran-Friendly School for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The recognition comes from the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency. The program honors colleges and schools that provide strong support for student veterans and their families.
Gold status means the institute offers veteran-focused programs and services that help students succeed in education and beyond.
The agency said the award reflects the institute’s hard work and commitment to those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The school received a certificate from the state to mark the honor.
