LANSING — State Representative Nancy Jenkins-Arno has been named the 2025 Legislator of the Year by the Michigan Works! Association.
The award was announced last week during the group’s annual conference in Kalamazoo. Jenkins-Arno was recognized for her support of workforce training and job programs across Michigan.
She has backed efforts like the Going PRO Talent Fund and apprenticeship programs that help connect people with good jobs while giving businesses the skilled workers they need.
Jenkins-Arno represents the 34th District in the Michigan House of Representatives and is now serving her fourth term. She also chairs the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor and Economic Opportunity.
The Michigan Works! Association said her work has played a key role in strengthening Michigan’s workforce and economy.
