Brenda Marie (Cambal) Zimmanck, age 64, of Blissfield, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital while surrounded by her family.
Brenda was born on September 13, 1961, in Adrian, MI, the second of Edward and Sharon (Fraiser) Cambal’s three children. Growing up on the family farm, Brenda had a strong work ethic and knew how to complete many tasks at once. She attended Blissfield Community Schools and graduated with the Class of 1980.
Brenda held various jobs during her lifetime and was proud of the 15 years she spent at GM Powertrain in Toledo, Ohio, working on the assembly line. Brenda was an avid Disney fan. She was a loyal Michigan Wolverine football fan tuning in each week to watch their game and cheer them on. Brenda enjoyed being outdoors gardening and taking care of her flowers or going for a drive and looking at wildlife. She anxiously awaited winter and looked forward to decorating for the Christmas season. Brenda felt very blessed to have such a wonderful family and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She will be missed by her children, Stephanie VanSteenkiste, Jennifer (Trey) Price and Edward (Maegan) Zimmanck; grandchildren, Max, Sam, Harper, Landon, Paisley, Carter and Millie; brothers, Steven (Tina) Cambal and Ronald Cambal; and wonderful extended family members. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Barb Cambal.
A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel, Blissfield from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
