Bonita (Bonnie) M. Filter age 69, of Adrian passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Adrian Bay Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born on August 16, 1956, in Hudson to Russell and Goldie (Slusher) Terrill. Bonnie attended school at the LISD Milton C. Porter Education Center. On April 20, 1994, Bonnie married Michael Filter in Adrian, and he survives. She loved all kinds of music, walking, and needlepoint crafts. Bonnie had two cats that she enjoyed spending time and caring for. She was a member of Bible Missionary in Adrian.
In addition to her Husband Michael, Bonnie is survived by her brother, Rod Terrill of Ft. Wayne, IN, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous extended family members.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Marry Funeral Home – Hudson. A funeral service will follow visitation, beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. After the burial a time of food and fellowship will take place at the Hudson American Legion Post (6113 Cadmus Rd. Hudson, MI 49247) from 2 – 4 pm.
