TECUMSEH — Hunters Helping Lenawee is celebrating its 15th anniversary and preparing for its third annual golf fundraiser on September 21 at the Tecumseh Country Club.
The nonprofit turns donated venison into meals for families across Lenawee County.
Program Manager Mike Houghton explained the impact of last year’s efforts.

The group has provided more than 81,000 meals since its start in 2010. This year’s golf fundraiser supports the processing costs that keep the program running.
