TECUMSEH — The Community Action Agency will host a series of free financial empowerment workshops this month and early October.
The sessions will be held at the Tecumseh Senior Center, now located inside Tecumseh Methodist Church on Bishop Reed Drive.
The first workshop, called “Let’s Look at Your Spending Plan,” takes place Wednesday, September 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. A savings and banking session follows on Thursday, September 18, also from 1 to 2 p.m.
On Thursday, September 25, participants can attend a workshop on understanding credit. The final session, focused on fraud, identity theft, and predatory lending, will be held on Wednesday, October 2. Both start at 1 p.m.
