SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg of Michigan joined Subcommittee Chairman Burgess Owens of Utah in Salt Lake City to lead a roundtable on the Working Families Tax Cuts.

Walberg and Owens met with business owners, educators, and community leaders to discuss how the new law helps parents, workers, and students.

The Working Families Tax Cuts are designed to make colleges more affordable, strengthen workforce training, and let families keep more of their earnings.

Committee leaders said the legislation reflects conservative reforms to higher education and delivers tax relief under President Trump’s leadership.

They added that the law is meant to expand opportunity so Americans can support their families, improve classroom outcomes, and build stronger small businesses.
