JACKSON — A free workshop on grant writing will be held in Jackson next week.
The session is called Grant Writing Basics: Tips to Be Successful. It takes place Tuesday, September 24, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the Commonwealth Commerce Center on East Washington Avenue.
The program will be led by Nonprofit Network Executive Director Regina Pinney. She will guide participants through the basics of writing grant proposals, what funders look for, and how to build a to-do list for applications.
The event is designed for beginners and will also be helpful for those with some grant writing experience.
