ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners approved a new patrol vehicle for the Secondary Road Patrol unit.
The county will buy a 2025 Dodge Durango for road safety work. The cost will not exceed $43,913. The purchase is paid by grant funds, so there are no General Fund dollars used.
This vehicle will help deputies cover more miles and respond faster on county roads. It replaces an older unit and will be set up with lights, radio, and other gear before hitting the road.
Next steps: the county will place the order and schedule upfitting so the Durango can enter service soon.
