Michigan Hospitality Foundation Earns National Award

BATTLE CREEK — The Michigan Hospitality Foundation has been honored with a top national award.

The group won the State Spirit Award at the 2025 Hospitality Pathways Conference in Washington, D.C. The award recognizes strong efforts to connect Michigan community programs with hospitality employers.

One Battle Creek partner, Zero Day, was highlighted for its training work. The Foundation also works with partners in Midland, Holland, Benton Harbor, Detroit, Lansing, and Westland.

The conference featured speeches and workshops on building skills and opening more career paths in restaurants and hotels.

The award shows Michigan’s leading role in helping people succeed in hospitality careers.
