ADRIAN — The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office says two deputies are graduating from the Washtenaw Police Academy today, Friday, Sept. 5.
The department congratulated the new deputies and said they will join the team soon.
And with local schools back in session, the sheriff’s office is also asking drivers to slow down and watch for students at bus stops. Buses will be out on the roads, and drivers must stop for the red flashing lights and extended stop arms.
Give children extra time to cross and avoid distractions behind the wheel.
